The new appointee takes on the leadership position at the development studio following the dismissal of former leader Michael Condrey, who was removed from his post due to Project Ethos' disappointing initial reveal last fall.
On Wednesday, 2K president David Ismailer informed staff about this organizational change through an internal memo, which highlighted that early feedback sessions had shown the need for a distinct vision.
Ismailer expressed that the developers is now overhauling Project Ethos with a revised vision, aiming to satisfy player expectations.

The gamer responses from last autumn’s Project ETHOS testing phase was enlightening. It validated the potential of a action-packed game but told us we still had work to do. It uncovered the requirement for a clearer brand.
It’s been inspiring to see how far you’ve progressed. You embraced the input to mind and revamped the title with a refreshed goal - one that’s ready to achieve its promise to our players.
